Hi everyone, my name is Courtney, though I go by Sia here. I love the arts and though my own art tends to be unrefined, I love drawing, writing, and crafts of various natures. Typically my art is all fantasy oriented with a focus on draconic types. I am currently in grad school, so my art hasn't really evolved due to lack of time. I work on it when I can and I have the motivation. :)
Mostly my deviant site is used for browsing and appreciating the art of others, though I rarely offer comments. ^^; Sorry about that!

My New Wacom Tablet

So... I finally broke down and picked up a Wacom Bamboo. I played with it a little bit on Sunday, when I got it, but I've been swamped ever since then; craptons of work to get through.
I was invited to interview at a practicum site one week from Thursday--epic WIN--so I need to get all my references organized and have my letters ready to go by then, which means I have to write them--in addition to my craptons of homework.
So my tablet... it sits in the box, calling my name. Hopefully I will have something to post up here soon though! :D

So here it is:
I've been thinking about posting some of my artwork up here for all to view, but I am hesitant because I don't really do art much anymore. I think about it a lot, but when I sit down to draw, the art I come up with just feels like it is missing something. The same goes for my writing.
Maybe I'll put something up anyways.
